Anyway, gonna be ranting about how people are over reacting in regards to the H1N1 virus.

So here it goes:

As we all know the H1N1 virus is spreading practically all over the place, and people are paranoid that they may get infected and all. Everywhere you go, people are making a big hooha over the entire thing.

Now, for the over reacting part. Firstly, I know it is contagious, it spreads relatively rapidly and the number of infected cases are increasing and all. But i still gotta say this, RELAX PEOPLE!

Gosh, it is like everywhere i go, people are saying "Becareful of the virus!", "dun get yourself infected and carry the virus around" etc etc.

Oh please! u know what is wrong with the above statements? I get that some people are just concern, that's perfectly fine, but for goodness sake! to say things like "becareful of the virus" is like totally retarted to me. Why you may ask? Oh I'll tell you why, it is because the "advisors" are like treating us like total retards or some brainless freaks. I mean who is able to identify/ see the virus and go "Hey! There's a virus! Let's get ourselves infected!" =.= stupid right? If everyone could know where the virus is or if they could see where the virus is, obviously they would refrain from going there.

Secondly, I would like to comment on not just the verbal approach that people are making, but now i would like to voice out on the action part. Every time some virus spread around, everyone suddenly moves into some ultra clean mode or something, people start washing their hands like everywhere they go, they shower more and stuff. Please! Stop being so hypocritical or even just like do what you are told! It is the same for SARS and now H1N1. If there is no virus spreading around, people practically never wash their hands. What I'm trying to say is that if you are really concern about hygiene, cleanliness, and being germ free, then the act of washing your hands should be something that is ongoing, and not something that you do when there's some stupid virus outbreak.

i guess there is nothing more for me to rant about as of now, cause i've ranted out quite a lot about the issue already.
